*Monday night, when Shelby comes back* Shelby's POV: I was home again. It was good to be back. Being in such close quarters with my depressed parents was not my idea of a fun vacation, although I guess it wasn't supposed to be. I wanted to be with Ryan, right then and there. He had texted me the whole weekend and I felt bad for leaving him on such short notice. Although I was only 14, almost 15, I stole my parents car and drove down to his house. It's not like they were using it anyway. I pulled up about 5 minutes later and knocked on the door. No answer. Funny, the lights were on... so I knocked again. Still no answer. I noticed that the curtains to the front window of his house were open, and I went over to have a peek. My heart dropped into my stomach when I saw the living room.
